Where You’ll Serve
Crowders Ridge
Interns serve two weeks straight during the summer and any weekends available during our Winter and Spring retreats.
How You’ll Serve
Bucks
Bucks is our camp store and Interns get the opportunity to learn how to make our speciality drinks, create friendships with campers through serving. Sometimes the staff even have small competitions during bucks shifts for all you high schoolers that like to make things a challenge! Through this position, Interns learn to work in a fast paced environment and to stretch their ability to work on tasks in a short time span.
Lodge Hospitality
The Lodge is our dining hall and interns serve alongside our summer and retreat staff to make the lodge a fun dining experience! With singing silly songs, eating great quality food, arm wrestling in the lodge to win the last oreo stack, Interns demonstrate our core value “What’s up buddy?” in the Lodge by serving campers in multiple capacities. Through this position, Interns learn to break down relational walls and create friendships through a conversation.
Freetime and Rec Activities
During retreats or the summer season, interns help assist in multiple areas during free time: Working in our camp store, Bucks, assisting our summer staff with paintball, managing areas of our waterfront, and helping with high ropes elements. Through this position, the Intern adapts an assertive role to lead campers through any fears or excitements throughout our activities.
